Exciting Paralegal Opportunity – Military Claims Team (Personal Injury Department)My client is currently seeking a motivated and talented Paralegal to join the Military Claims team in our well-established Manchester Personal Injury department.This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience in Personal Injury matters who is eager to expand their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Previous experience with military claims is desirable but not essential, as we are happy to provide training to the right candidate.As part of this role, you will work closely with senior solicitors and assist them with managing their caseloads, gaining invaluable experience in this unique area of law. The position offers significant potential for personal and professional growth, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their legal expertise.Key Responsibilities:
  • Vetting new military claims
  • Drafting client and witness statements
  • Preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel
  • Drafting court documents and reviewing medical records
  • Reviewing medical reports and researching case law on liability and quantum
  • Drafting advices to clients and keeping them informed on case progress
  • Preparing court bundles and managing billing and disbursement payments
