We are looking for a Head Chef with the enthusiasm to succeed in a busy kitchen. The ideal candidate will have experience working with fresh food and a passion for creating recipes.

As the leader of our food crew, you'll be a valuable part of a team that thrives on the pressure of working in a busy food operation. You'll work alongside our Chefs as part of a tight-knit team in an exciting, fast-moving environment, preparing fresh locally sourced ingredients.

Duties

  • Leadership and management of an established kitchen team, recruitment, training, and ongoing development
  • Development of new seasonal dishes in collaboration with the Director of Food
  • Menu planning and costing, stock control and training
  • A strong focus on maintaining food safety, health & safety, and HACCP guidelines
  • Working to financial targets, including GPs and labour controls. Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margin

Skills

  • A minimum of 12-month experience at Sous Chef level is required.
