Sous Chef Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the right hand to our Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the high standards of our kitchen, ensuring every dish that leaves our pass is a testament to our commitment to quality and authenticity.

Sous Chef Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, flavour profiles, and presentation, staying true to our classic New York Italian culinary style.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain kitchen efficiency.
  • Uphold strict hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Contribute to menu development, bringing fresh ideas while respecting our classic roots.
  • Lead by example, mentoring junior kitchen staff and cultivating a team-oriented atmosphere.

Sous Chef Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment.
  • Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, particularly the classic New York Italian style.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
