Sous Chef
NICHI is an exciting new sushi and robata concept launching this November. We will be bringing a touch of luxury to Greater Manchester with high-ticket items such as otoro and wagyu available alongside more affordable options such as robata skewers. We are looking for a superstar Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and kitchen team with catapulting Nichi to success.
Key Aspects of the Sous Chef role;
- To lead the kitchen team by example with a dedicated and standards oriented work ethic
- To train and develop the kitchen team
- To work closely with the Head Chef to ensure a seamless service

Requirements for a Sous Chef;
- Minimum 2 years experience as a chef
- Previous experience as a sous chef in a similar environment
- Experience with grill cooking
- Available to start from the beginning of November
- Familiar with Japanese cuisine & ingredients (beneficial)
