We are recruiting a unique Chef position to be part of a small team creating exciting and daily changing fresh food menus, working with world cuisines and producing weekly fine dining menus.
This is a Monday Friday daytime role where you will work within a small team, collaborate creatively on menus and deliver exceptional service and standards.
We are looking for a unique and talented highly experienced chef who takes immense pride in their food, who can bring passion and creative flair, new on trend menu ideas and who runs an efficient kitchen operation, and happy to work across all areas of the kitchen showing teamwork and commitment.
The role:
Create high quality fresh food daily menus for the internal restaurant, bring ideas from world cuisines, with a healthy, nutritious and vibrant feel, and cater for a wide range of dietary requirements.
.Deliver specialist menus and canapes on a weekly basis
Create and deliver regular fine dining menus on special event days
Work in a team environment, supporting and collaborating with a small team of chefs to deliver exceptional food, service and standards.
Deliver exceptional customer focused creative and nutritional menus.
Actively engage with wider teams in the business to exceed expectations and gather feedback to drive menu creation.
Be responsible for all food compliance, Health and safety, food safety, and allergen management.
The candidate:
High level chef experience within a high-quality food operation - fine dining experience is essential, min 2AA / 3 AA rosette level / Michelin Star.
. Experience and knowledge in Nutritional and healthy menus, creating and cooking nutritional healthy food and able to bring these menu ideas to the food concept.
A natural drive to achieve customer satisfaction with an open and collaborative nature and open communication and a willingness to work closely with management to achieve business goals and company vision.
Passionate about producing exciting, vibrant, food, and world-wide cuisines with the ability to balance compliance and creativity.
Experience of creating andcosting menus, with strong knowledge of allergens and GPs.
A willingness to seek feedback on menu ideas and be open to change to keep customers happy and content.
Happy to stepoutside of your comfort zone and enjoy a challenge and a willingness to work across all areas of the kitchen and pitch in with cleanliness and organisation.
. Computer literate, with the ability to create menus, costings and work on the in-house system.
. Excellent leadership and people skills are essential for this role.
