Clinical Project Engineer

Purpose of the Role:


This Clinical Project Engineer position will involve overseeing clinical/custom project activities across the UK and Ireland. This role will involve conducting pre-installation checks and site surveys, then transferring this information into usable data using AutoCAD. You will oversee the project from planning to execution and actively participate in site installations. The role focuses on ensuring best-in-class service and installation of Lab Water Purification systems, guaranteeing customer satisfaction, and minimizing downtime.

It's an exciting opportunity to progress within the medical devices or diagnostics field, with a succession plan to transition into more senior roles within 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-installation checks and site surveys.
  • Transfer site survey information into usable data using AutoCAD.
  • Oversee the project from planning to execution.
  • Actively participate in site installations.
  • Ensure best-in-class service and installation of Lab Water Purification systems.
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Project team and Clinical Sales Specialists to create standardised solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Visit clinical sites across the UK, developing long-term solutions for clients.

Qualifications & Skills (Minimal Requirements):

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Solid technical experience in medical devices within a clinical environment (Clinical analysers, scanners, X-Ray).
  • Project Management: Qualification in Project Management (Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Technical Competencies: Proficiency in technical drawing and project tools (AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Project).
  • Medical Devices & IVD: Experience in installation and troubleshooting of medical devices or IVD analysers.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Clear and professional communication with both internal and external partners.
  • Agile learner and team player.


Compensation:

  • Basic Salary: 45,000 - 50,000
