Location: Manchester, to work or national

Salary/Package: £37,000 – £44,000, Van/Fuel Card, PPE/Tools, call out/Additional Allowances, Comprehensive benefits package (health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off.

A leading building services company committed to excellence and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our dedicated team of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial gas systems and appliances.
  • Inspect, test, and commission gas equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to optimize system performance.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of work, including reports and maintenance logs.

Requirements

  • Valid Gas Safe registration and commercial gas qualifications (e.g., CCN1, COCN1, CIGA1, TPCP1).
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of gas regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
  • Commitment to health and safety compliance.

Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
