- Ideally be BEng/MEng qualified in a Chemical or related Mechanical discipline
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Design skills with the ability to design new processes
- Strong Project Management skills
- Understands 2D and 3D CAD
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to take a leadership role and motivate others
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Solving problems and improving engineering processes
- Being involved in designing, implementing and overseeing project plansÂ
- Liaising with other departments to manage such projects
- Ensuring quality and H&S standards are met
- Running trials and experiments in an R&D environment
- Design equipment layouts
- Maintaining technical documentation as required
- Keeping up to date with reports and developments in inorganic chemistry
- Pushing for constant progression for product development and manufacturing techniques
