The Role - Field Service Engineer, Mass Spectrometry

Following expansion, they seek to recruit a Field Service Engineer responsible for:

  • Providing scientific, technical and training support
  • Investigating and troubleshooting queries
  • Collecting and analysing data
  • Handling customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Working closely with the sales, service, marketing and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Mass Spectrometry

To succeed in this exciting role, you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  • Or as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  • Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND or BSc in a life science or engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with life sciences instrumentation
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments
