Robert Half is working in partnership with a well-established retailer based in Manchester to recruit a Finance Master Data Specialist. This role will be integral to supporting the transformation of financial systems, specifically the implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and process incoming data requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and validate master data set-up and modification requests, ensuring all are thoroughly checked in line with established protocols.
  • Work closely with multiple internal finance teams to ensure the data model aligns with business needs and optimises financial processes within SAP systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
  • Support both new and existing team members by providing training and ongoing assistance related to master data management and processes.
  • Implement and uphold a strong governance structure to manage financial master data, ensuring continuous data quality and compliance.
  • Constantly look for opportunities to enhance processes, aiming to improve both customer and employee experiences.

Key Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with SAP financial data management.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to tackle complex issues.
