Area Sales Manager - Instrument Calibration and Service

Calibration and Testing Service Provider - Midlands to Scotland

£50,000 - £60,000 + Car + £10k OTE + Benefits + Training

The Company recruiting for the Area Sales Manager:

  • A trusted and respected name within the Calibration service space
  • ISO/IEC accredited to ISO 17025 standards
  • Part of a group with 3 other companies
  • Highly reputable within the Automotive, Motorsport, and Aerospace sectors, to name a few
  • Seeking an experienced sales professional, able to 'land and expand' customer accounts.

The Role of the Area Sales Manager:

  • A predominantly field based, new business sales position
  • Cross selling into customers of the group's other companies
  • Building lasting relationships with customers to expand them further.
  • Sales are project led on a case-by-case basis
  • Selling Calibration as a Service and Testing as a Service, alongside a range of metrology and measurement systems

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager:

  • Commercial awareness and able to have technical sales conversations with clients
  • Understanding of UKAS and calibration processes is highly advantageous
  • Empathetic and charismatic sales professional
  • Full UK drivers licence and able to work in the UK without sponsorship.

The Package for the Area Sales Manager:

  • £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience
  • £10k OTE
  • Company car; plug-in hybrid VW Tiguan
  • Pension, laptop, mobile, training
  • 25 days holiday plus stats
