Area to be covered: Greater Manchester
Remuneration: £44,000-£50,000 Neg. + £15,000-£20,000 Bonus
Benefits: Tesla 3 or BMW e330 & full benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Plumbing and Heating will involve:
- Field sales position, selling a distributed range of mechanical pipes, values, fitting and drainage
- Covering greater Manchester
- Selling into plumbing and heating contractors, building services contactors, mechanical contractors etc.
- Four days a week on the road, typically 12-16 qualified customer appointments per week
- One day working from branch
- Personal ledger responsibility circa £4.5m-£5m
- 70% Account management role, 30% new business development
- Looking after accounts from £10,000 turnover to £500,000
- Working in a team of four field sales professionals (£16.5m branch revenue responsibility)
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Plumbing and Heating with:
- Proven field sales track record selling into contractors
- Open to all building product backgrounds, although specific knowledge of mechanical pipes, values, fitting and drainage may be useful
- Mechanical, plumbing and heating sector experience would be a bonus
- Positive outlook
- Work hard play hard mentality
- Proven account management skills; excellent relationship builder etc.
- Ambitious, dynamic and hard working personality
- Ability to build structured journey plan
- Autonomous, driven self starter, no leaflet droppers
