Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading Hydraulics supplier.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development will operate primarily on the M62 corridor of the UK selling and managing key accounts within the Hydraulic sector via distribution channels and end users / OEM channels.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development will ideally have experience selling, servicing, manufacturing, or managing key accounts within the Hydraulic sector such as pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, gearboxes or similar Fluid Power / Hydraulic products.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
  • Operate primarily on the M62 corridor of the UK selling and managing key accounts within the Hydraulic sector via distribution channels and end users / OEM channels.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various Hydraulic related products including pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, gearboxes and related Hydraulic products.
  • Maintaining Hydraulic sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Working remotely covering the likes of Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Hull
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within Engineering.
  • Experience selling or servicing Hydraulic equipment such as pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, gearboxes or similar Fluid Power products.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering Distributor.
  • A technical Engineering Degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites across the M62 corridor of the UK.
