Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required for a multi-site valve and instrumentation distributor.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business DevelopmentManager will be responsible for creating new business prospects and handling key accounts in the North West for instrumentation, valve and control products such as actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related instrumentation / flow control products and systems.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business DevelopmentManager willideallyhave experience selling or managing key accounts within a mechanical engineering environment related to instrumentation, valve and control products such as actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related instrumentation / flow control products and systems.

Role
  • Creating new business prospects and handling key accounts in the North West.
  • Selling instrumentation, valve and control products such as actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related instrumentation / flow control products and systems via distribution channels and OEM customers.
  • Work remotely / field based covering the North West UK with regular visits to customer sites.
  • Work closely with various engineering departments.

Requirements
  • Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Executive or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
  • Experience selling instrumentation, valve and control products such as actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related instrumentation / flow control products and systems. Full product training provided.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Working remotely, willing to cover the North West UK.
