The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager will work remotely, mainly covering the Northwest of the UK selling mechanical engineering products and services.
The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager will ideally have experience selling, servicing or managing accounts of mechanical products such as rotating equipment, compressors, generators, gearboxes, mechanical seals, pumps, hydraulics, filtration, valves, and or similar mechanical engineering products. Full product training provided.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager Requirements Role
- Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers within the mechanical engineering industry. Selling into industries such as marine, food & bev, oil & gas, power generation, water and more.
- Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development, selling the services for industrial pump products and systems.
- Maintaining new mechanical seal sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Work remotely covering the Northwest of the UK.
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager Requirements
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Systems Engineer, Applications Engineer or similar.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a leading global engineering manufacturer.
- Experience selling the following would be advantageous though not a necessity - rotating equipment, compressors, generators, gearboxes, mechanical seals, pumps, hydraulics, filtration, valves, and or similar mechanical engineering products. Full product training provided.
- A technical mechanical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous
- Experience selling other mechanical engineering products into industries such as power generation, water, oil & gas, marine, food & bev and an aptitude for learning new products will also be strongly considered
- Liaise with other engineering departments
