Business Development Manager - Premium Frozen Desserts equipment

Location: Manchester, York, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Carlisle, Durham

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic (OTE £75,000 - £80,000)

Benefits: Electric car allowance (£650/month), 22 days holiday (after 3 years this will increase by 1 day per year), Perkbox, and other company benefits

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team and expand our presence across the North of England and Scotland.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for growing our customer base and nurturing strong relationships. You’ll be targeting a diverse range of clients, including:

  • Tourist attractions
  • Small restaurant chains
  • Independent restaurants
  • Dessert shops

Key Responsibilities include

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the defined region.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth across your territory.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and product teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

The Person

We’re looking for a proactive and results-oriented individual with a passion for sales and experience within the Foodservice sector.

  • Candidates must have experience of sales into the Foodservice sector.
  • Experience selling capital equipment into the sector will be of particular interest
  • We also welcome applications from driven, new business orientated candidates with experience of selling other product ranges into Foodservice and hospitality

Candidates must have a structured approach to managing a large area and be able to formulate a new business plan alongside effective account management.
