Description
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and increase sales.
- Consistently achieve challenging sales and revenue targets, while monitoring performance and making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain high levels of activity to ensure a robust sales pipeline and generate ample leads.
- Streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Foster and strengthen relationships with customers to enhance retention.
- Understand customer needs and tailor Walkers Transport's services to meet those requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure volume targets are met and customer retention remains high.
- Regularly review progress with new customers to ensure sales targets are being met.
- Establish service level agreements (SLAs) to reduce customer attrition.
- Fully utilise the CRM system to track customer interactions and activity effectively.
Profile
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- 2-3 years of experience in field-based sales.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and active listening skills.
- Clear and effective communication abilities.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
