We're looking to speak to experienced Invoice Finance Business Development Managers who are exploring the market looking for their next step. One of the UK's leading Finance Houses are looking for a BDM to join their Invoice Finance division in the North West. The ideal candidate will be someone with Invoice Finance sales experience, a network of Brokers & Introducers especially in the North who they can use to aid New Business, and a desire to progress and maximise their earnings. What's expected of you as a BDM: Key competence is new business but also a knowledge of operations and risk management procedures might also be useful.
  • Conducting original research to ensure a constantly expanding database of professional intermediaries, who will introduce high quality prospects. These introductory sources will include accountants, brokers, corporate financiers, banks and the like.
  • Maintaining regular contact by personal visits, telephone calls, emails, etc., with intermediaries throughout the business community and diligently processing new client opportunities to ensure that we are the chosen provider wherever possible.
  • Obtaining comprehensive data for submission to the Directors, of a prospective client file for underwriting. Said files will comprise detail on the prospect’s field of activity, debtor portfolio, financial profile, management acumen and an assessment of inherent risk.
  • The achievement of minimum new client and fee revenue standards whilst ensuring that new business quality standards are maintained and budgets achieved.
  • At all times to represent the company professionally and to maintain high standards in all respects.
  • To endeavour to exceed any personal target that has been set, paying particular regard to, and in line with the points above.
  • To attend and contribute to daily Commercial Calls and contribute to the weekly company meetings. 
  • Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, client service and risk management.
