Business Development Manager

North West (Manchester, Chester, Liverpool)

£40,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Are you a passionate and commercially driven individual who thrives on building relationships in the On-Trade sector?

 Do you want to work with a prestigious, internationally renowned spirits manufacturer with an outstanding portfolio across whisky and gin?

We are partnering with a leading independent spirits business that is looking for a Brand Development Manager to drive sales and brand visibility across the North West region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high-profile portfolio of premium spirits brands.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing key accounts within the Contemporary On-Trade, Prestige, and Premium sectors
  • Growing distribution, visibility, and rate of sale across the portfolio
  • Building strong partnerships with key venues across the region
  • Creating and identifying new business opportunities beyond a predefined list
  • Delivering against KPIs including cocktail menu placements, activations, distribution growth, and Fine & Rare sales targets
  • Representing the brand at trade shows, industry events, and activations

About You:

  • On-Trade experience in the North West, ideally with a strong network across the North West
  • Passion for spirits, whisky, and the On-Trade sector
  • Highly energetic with a relationship-driven approach
  • Commercially savvy
  • Strong negotiation and business development skills
  • Ability to build long-term partnerships
  • Self-motivated and able to maximize opportunities
