Citrus Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a rapidly growing business in the tech sector. You will join at an exciting time in the businesses journey of growth and expansion, they provide a depth of different tech hardware to customers across the UK. We are looking for a Business Development Manager with industry experience in selling into Solar Energy, Electrical wholesalers or Network Hardware, using your industry knowledge to hunt for big business wins to support their next step in their expansion plans. Working remotely, you will be meeting customers face to face to win and secure new orders. You will mainly be selling to installers of the hardware, which product range consists of Networking & Accessories, CCTV and Home Security to go with those products. As the business grows, so will your career with further opportunities to move up with the business. Business Development Manager will be based with your territory which is the Northeast and Northwest of the UK. Responsibilities & day to day dutiesAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Self-generating your sales pipeline and lead generation to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Win new business and growing your existing client base.
  • The role is on the road and meeting customers face to face, this will take up 60/80 of your week.
  • Creating solutions with your product knowledge to make tailored solutions for the client.
  • Working with a variety of customers from installers, technicians and businesses.
  • Understand technical specifications and sell these products to an existing and new customer base.
Skills & experience required.
  • A proven track record selling B2B in Solar Energy, Electrical wholesalers, DIY or Network Hardware.
  • Winning business as well as managing existing accounts.
  • Build strong relationships your customers and close deals.
  • Confidence to approach business cold to sell your solutions.
  • Ability to be personable, accountable and a problem solver.
  • You will need to have a proactive approach to your work.
