One of our key clients, a global insurance broking business, have an outstanding opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their private equity team in Manchester!

In this role, you'll lead M&A transactions, generate new business, build key relationships, and raise the team’s market profile. If you’re driven and network-savvy, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make an impact!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurturing Relationships: Build connections in the M&A and Private Equity community to develop new business opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Devise strategic tactics and collaborate with internal teams to maximize new business wins.
  • Client Retention: Really delve deep into your key accounts and understand their needs as a business, cross selling products where you can!
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with M&A and Private Equity teams to strategize and drive success.
  • Maintain High Standards: Oversee SalesForce records and liaise with senior leadership team to ensure company standards are being maintained.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Broad understanding of commercial insurance products, ideally with M&A / private equity experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior decision-makers.
  • Must hold a highly professional demeanour with tactful persuasion and cross selling skills.
