Phillips Grant Associates are assisting a client with offices in the North West to recruit for a Business Development Manager to drive sales within the Manchester area. Your client base will include organisations within the private and public sectors and you will need the ability to sell a solution to the clients specific needs, dealing with the sales process from initiating contact through to closing the sale in face to face meetings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Help develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve product and services sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect new clients within the target market segments including public and private sector clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of the organisation’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our network and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.

Package:

Salary up to £35,000, car allowance £4,600, uncapped commission, annual discretionary bonus, 25 days annual leave, gym membership, healthcare plan.
