Our client, a dynamic Wealth Management Platform, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. The Platform is based in Bristol, but this role is based from home and requires nationwide travel so they are inviting applications from any location. This role involves driving new business, fostering strong relationships, and managing existing accounts within the Wealth Management sector. You will play a key role in encouraging Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and partner firms to maximise their use of the platform. This client offers a competitive bonus structure and opportunities for progression.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with IFAs and adviser firms across the UK.
- Manage key accounts and independently handle smaller accounts.
- Proactively convert new partner firms into active platform users.
- Achieve sales targets by educating and informing advisers on platform benefits.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, communication, and growth opportunities.
- Use market insights and data to identify opportunities for business development.
About You:
- Strong understanding of the UK Wealth Management market, including technology, operations, and asset management.
- Proven track record in business development or relationship management within financial services.
- Process-driven with consultative sales experience.
- Confident, assertive, and customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel nationwide as part of this home-based role.
