We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Ecommerce Manager to drive growth and optimize our online presence in the vintage fashion retail space. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing our ecommerce operations, implementing digital marketing strategies, and enhancing our customer experience across all digital touchpoints - There’s lots to do and a huge opportunity to significantly improve our eCommerce operations and marketing in general.

Our client's ecommerce presence has grown organically (and they've not done a bad job - revenue for the business was over £2.5m last year - However there's loads of scope to improve, organise and progress their ecommerce offering and shopping experience!

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy and Implementation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
  • Manage and optimize the ecommerce website, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience
  • Oversee online merchandising, including product listings, pricing, and promotions

Digital Marketing

  • Lead SEO initiatives to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media)
  • Develop and implement email marketing strategies to engage customers and drive sales

Analytics and Reporting

  • Utilize web analytics tools to monitor KPIs, analyze customer behavior, and identify areas for improvement
  • Generate regular reports on ecommerce performance, including sales, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, creative, customer service, and IT teams to ensure seamless ecommerce operations
  • Collaborate with the events team to integrate online and offline marketing efforts

The Candidate

  • Proven track record of driving ecommerce growth and improving key metrics
  • Strong expertise in SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and web analytics
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

Desired Skills

  • Experience with fashion retail and event marketing
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and customer segmentation strategies
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques
