European Sales Manager | Remote | Consumer goods- TOYS! | 60,000-70,000 + Bonus and Excellent Benefits

Role Responsibilities.

  • Identify new routes to market with ecommerce and bricks & mortar accounts working with the business to develop appropriate product solutions to effectively sell-in and maximise growth.
  • Use trends awareness of the retail market, identify and proactively seek opportunities for new business.
  • Implement and take ownership for the sales plan and achieve/ exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain effective internal and external communications across business and stakeholder groups.
  • Negotiate and develop annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
  • Managing the critical path process, including management of product selections, samples, quotations and approval processes.
  • Fully execute and post-evaluate promotional activity.
  • Manage effective communication of brand plans to customer base.
  • Negotiate all elements of pricing, terms, and promotions within business guidelines.
  • Provide feedback to the business on new product opportunities and competitor information.
  • Add value outside of the job description via initiatives, creative ideas, and special projects.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments including Logistics and Supply chain departments.
  • Complete quarterly forecasting.
  • Attend head office when required.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Alongside Global Head of Sales & Marketing, help to prepare pitch/proposals to secure any distribution agreements.

Experience

Essential:

  • At least 5 years in a European Sales role within the toy industry
  • Experience working with international retailers (specialist, grocery, ecommerce) and distributors.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Desirable:

  • FOB and domestic sales experience.
  • Experience managing international agents
  • Proficiency in a second language a plus
