Sales Executive - Northeast, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our UK Sales team, covering the Northeast region, including Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, selling multimodal freight services.
Role Details:
- Location: Hybrid role based in the Manchester office, with flexible working arrangements (including working from home).
- Travel: Frequent travel across the Northeast region, Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 (40 hours per week, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break). Flexibility is required.
Salary & Benefits:
- £36,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + £5,000 car allowance + a competitive bonus structure based on targets and company growth.
- 20 days annual leave + public holidays, with holiday loyalty days up to a maximum of 5 days (1 per full year of service).

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving sales targets and identifying new business opportunities.
- Profiling new clients to understand how we can support them with freight/customs services.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively scoping and developing new business opportunities.
- Managing the CRM system to track client communications and follow up with prospective customers.
- Demonstrating strong sales skills, product knowledge, and negotiation abilities.
- Enhancing current client portfolios and maintaining relationships with existing customers, suppliers, and overseas agents.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the freight industry.
- Knowledge of Import/Export multimodal business.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Able to prioritize and manage workloads independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility with working hours and the ability to work from home.
Essential Requirements:
