Graduate Account Manager

I have the pleasure of supporting one of my exclusive partners within the tech sector, as they continue to be the go to provider within their sector. As part of their commitment to customer excellence, they are creating a brand new team in Manchester that will be responsible for the onboarding of new clients and subsequently becoming their dedicated point of contact for their lifetime as customers with the business.

As a Graduate Account Manager your role will involve the following duties, but there is definitely the chance to shape this brand new role:

  • Ensure the seamless onboarding of new businesses- this includes a full welcome call and induction to the business
  • You will be the dedicated point of contact for your specific set of customers when resolving any account related queries they have
  • Book in monthly/quarterly and annual service reviews with customers (frequency to be agreed)- these reviews can be phone based, teams or face to face- where you will conduct a full health check on their account
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits on each account
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to maximise profitability on each account, whilst ensuring a first class service is provided
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within your account base
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Help customers through phone, email, virtual meetings and in person meetings
  • Monitor and analyse customer's usage of products to provide suitable alternatives
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams to ensure a seamless service

As a Graduate Account Manager you will be fully office based in Manchester City Centre, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

The salary for this position will be £26- 27k and there will be monthly commission initially of around £400 per month- however as your client base grows and becomes more profitable your total earnings will increase considerably.
