Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving marketing excellence? We are recruiting on behalf of an excellent company seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing to their fast-growing team. You’ll work with top-tier clients across various sectors, leading innovative marketing strategies that fuel business growth and enhance our brand's presence.

About the role

Title: Head of Marketing

Role: Full time, permanent

Location: Manchester

Salary: up to £70K per annum

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Growth

  • Collaborate with leadership to create and execute a data-driven marketing strategy aligned with commercial goals.
  • Implement a multi-channel approach, including inbound marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), content marketing, events, SEO/SEM, social media, and sales enablement.
  • Manage and optimize the annual marketing budget, adjusting based on performance metrics.
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance to drive continuous improvement and identify market opportunities.

Brand Management

  • Develop and maintain a strong, consistent brand identity across all platforms.
  • Leverage content marketing to position the company as a thought leader in target sectors.
  • Craft press releases to boost brand awareness and credibility.

Sales & Marketing Alignment

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop targeted lead-generation campaigns.
  • Ensure strong communication and alignment between sales, client services, and marketing functions.
  • Implement CRM strategies to nurture leads and support client retention.

Leadership and Development

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs, tracking progress towards achieving objectives.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a marketing leadership role within an agency or B2B service environment.
  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing channels and CRM marketing automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and marketing analytic tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
