We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Product Pricing and Planning Manager for our client's head offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in premium fashion with pricing strategies and inventory planning expertise, preferably across B2B2C, brand.com, retail, and wholesale channels.

Client Details

Our client is a global brand name in the world of premium textiles and is looking to expand its teams by bringing on a Merchandising Manager with a passion for the latest trends worldwide, and utilising market insights to optimise product pricing strategies and product performance.

Description

  • Stay up-to-date on trends and competition through frequent benchmarking and monitoring competitive pricing, assortment gaps, and industry shifts.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for each product line or collection using market forecasting tools.
  • Monitor the cost of goods sold (COGS),gross margins, and return on sales (ROS)to ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Monitor stock movement regularly and strategically decide on markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clearouts across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the buying, marketing and sales teams to drive product sales.
  • Conduct regular price reviews and adjustments as necessary to generate best value proposition.
  • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support

Profile

A successful Product Pricing and Planning Manager should have:

  • Strong analytical ability and highly numerate with an eye for detail
  • Proven experience in retail pricing and planning preferably within fashion
  • Ability to interpret complex data across multiple channels
  • Prior working expertise in international markets and knowledge of market trends
  • Proven expertise in implementing strategies to improve product performance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Advanced Excel, BI, and pricing software.
