We are currently looking for a Head of Sales/Sales Manager to join our client's Northern England team. You would be responsible for a local/regional sales strategy, ensuring a robust sales process as well as overseeing the work and continuous development of a team of Account Managers, fully focussed on delivering maximum revenue. Salary circa £60,000 with car or cash allowance plus excellent benefits which include 25 days annual holidays plus bank holidays, Bupa options, health insurance and life assurance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a small, committed, and close-knit management team and play a key role as part of a leading building services business.----The RoleKey responsibilities will include…- Develop, establish and maintain customer relationships to secure long-term business- Manage a team utilising measurement tool to ensure consistency and improving performance- Oversee the sales team in progress of key varied accounts- Implement the sales strategy to meet relevant business and corporate objectives- Lead the sales team in creating and delivering solutions for complex and major deals, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and up selling additional products and services- Create and manage the new business pipeline, to deliver financial and business targets- Feedback to the organisation any relevant market intelligence e.g. customers, marketplace, industry competitors, technology----The Candidate- A proven leader within a fast-paced sales environment with excellent leadership/management skills and a passion for helping develop and get the very best out of your salespeople- Strong successful personal sales history, ideally with a background withing Construction, with demonstrated ability to win new business and build client relationships - Strategic thinking - aligning with business plan objectives and customer's objectives- Used to implementing and working with data and reports - Focused on continual improvement, challenging the status quo and leading discussions- Can demonstrate a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved and stays focused on the goal- A well organised and structured approach to work----The CompanyA leading construction services business with multi-site operations across the UK who invest in their people and can offer genuine opportunities to move into senior operational leadership.----Interested?
