Description

This role offers an ideal first step into a Head of-level position for someone currently working in a sales-driven contact centre at management level.

  • You'll be responsible for providing constructive and inspirational leadership to two direct reports at Team Lead level, driving a high-performance sales strategy to support business targets.
  • Oversee the quality and performance of the pipeline delivered to field sales, ensuring strong alignment between teams.
  • Foster a culture of success and continuous improvement, supporting day-to-day management to maintain high service levels.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to elevate team skills and performance within the telesales function.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide targeted feedback to promote continuous development and progression.
  • Champion high retention, engagement, and growth across your teams, supporting all areas of people leadership, including performance management, absence, and career development.
  • Collaborate closely with field sales counterparts to ensure seamless development and delivery of the sales offering from initial contact onward.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and increase sales, aligning these efforts with organisational objectives.
  • Manage operational costs within agreed budgets, ensuring financial efficiency in all areas.
