The Company: A manufacturer of flexible packaging to the retail and industrial sectors are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive. Paying up to £30,000 pa plus commission depending on experience.

This is a privately owned reputable business based in the North West. Product knowledge can be taught. A background having worked in a manufacturing environment / technical product sale would be a distinct advantage.

Job Description of the Internal Sales Executive

Build relationships with a friendly professional telephone mannerTo achieve UK film sales targets, budgets, expenses and profit targets      To grow personal and key accounts in turnover and profitabilityTo gain new personal and key accounts on a nationwide basis                                    To communicate with customers in a timely and professional mannerTo communicate internally to the highest professional standards and pass leads to Internal Sales To continually explore ways of improving the company’s efficiency

Job Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Executive:

To achieve UK film sales targets, budgets, expenses and profit targetsSales targets and profit targets are set and agreed with Sales Manager for personal film sales.Sales targets and budgets are met.The Sales Manager is updated and informed on a regular basis, any deviants from targets and corrective action being taken.

To grow personal and key accounts in turnover and profitability

All existing designated key accounts have in place a clear strategic growth plan.Regular liaison takes place with all personal and key accounts and key contacts contacted on a regular basis, with the aim of driving the business forward for both companies.Key accounts are provided with the highest standards of professionalism from the company and the appropriate levels of service.All live accounts are contacted on a monthly basis unless directed by the customer.Any deviants from strategic growth plans in place on individual key accounts are notified to the Sales Manager with details of corrective actions/planned actions to be taken.

To communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner

All live customers are contacted monthly as a minimum unless directed by the customer.Follow-up letters / e-mail contact takes place with customers within 24 hours of any communication or request from the customer.Customer calls are returned on the same day if received before 4pmCustomer quotes are returned and prepared accurately within 48 hours.Customer complaints are rectified with 24 hours – or escalated to the Sales Manager

To communicate internally to the highest professional standards and pass leads to the Internal Sales Team

ACT is updated immediately following every call or customer contact.There exists an effective communication interface between the Film Sales Team the Field Sales function and all departments within the business.The Sales Manager is kept advised of all important day-to-day issues.Ad-hoc sales reports and analysis is carried out in a timely fashion as required by the Sales ManagerInitiatives required by the Sales manager and from time-to-time other directors or departmental heads are organised and executed in a timely fashion, this includes (but is not limited to) input and attendance at exhibitions, strategic meetings, board presentations.
