Key Account Manager - Manchester - Express Distribution

Salary C: £41.5K plus Company Car or Generous Car Allowance plus Bonus

Our client is a Market Leader in the UK and International Express Parcels, Logistics and Freight Industry. They a looking for a suitably qualified Key Account Manager to join the team in the Manchester area.

The Role:Our Client is looking to recruit a first class Key Account Manager to join their highly skilled and high performing team.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing account plans for each customer to support the Key Account Manager portfolio revenue/contribution targets
  • Maintaining/updating information via SalesForce and customer files
  • Developing multi-functional and multi-level business relationships with customers organisations
  • Identifying and developing any additional revenue opportunities within the portfolio and their associated companies. Maintain an up to date revenue opportunity pipeline
  • Visiting and carrying out exit surveys on lost customers and maintain regular monthly contact
  • Identifying and managing the resolution of customer problems to underpin long term account retention
  • Visiting existing customers to maintain planned levels of revenue/ contribution improvement through timely rate renewals
  • Working with internal departments and contacts to ensure operational service is delivered and improvement opportunities identified and supported
