Marketing & Promotions Manager

Overview:

An exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Promotions Manager to join a dynamic team at a leading venue and event group based in Manchester. Specialising in innovative and high-quality cultural activations, this organisation operates across five vibrant venues and delivers over 150 shows annually, featuring both emerging and world-class talent.

This role is perfect for an ambitious and culturally aware professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for electronic music and events.

Role:

As the Marketing & Promotions Manager , you will play a pivotal role in coordinating marketing efforts across the portfolio of venues. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director and working alongside Creatives including Graphic Designers and Videographers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional marketing strategies and managing end-to-end campaigns for a diverse calendar of events.

Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Management: Implement day-to-day marketing actions for shows and venues. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver cutting-edge campaigns.
  • Event Launches: Manage key moments in campaigns, such as line-up and ticket launches, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Collaborative Marketing: Partner with creatives, external agencies, artists’ management, and third parties to design impactful marketing strategies.
  • Ticketing Management: Set up event profiles and tickets via ticketing platforms
  • Email Campaigns: Lead the creation and scheduling of newsletters to engage and grow audiences.
  • Innovative Thinking: Approach campaigns with creativity and originality to drive success.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on campaign performance and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Team Coordination: Oversee the flow of marketing projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • External Relationships: Work alongside promoters and artist management to amplify marketing efforts.
Requirements:

We are looking for a proactive, well-organised, and passionate individual with:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing management within the events sector.
  • A deep enthusiasm for electronic music and cultural events.
  • Proven ability to manage venue marketing with a busy calendar of events.
  • Experience collaborating with artists’ management on campaign approvals.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Mailchimp, and ticketing platforms
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and META Business Manager.
  • Exceptional project management and multitasking skills.
  • A creative mindset and attention to detail.

Bonus: Experience running your own events or working with AI tools for productivity.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
