Position: Marketing Automation Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Manchester (Hybrid / Remote available)
What's the background?
An established and successful FinTech business in Manchester are looking for a Marketing Automation Manager in a newly created role. Working alongside and supporting the Campaigns Manager you will focus on data, automation, and tech platforms to help drive revenue growth.
You're the type person who is data driven and loves working under the bonnet to see how it all works, and when there's an issue you can see the problem and know how to fix it. You're a HubSpot expert and ideally have a strong knowledge and understanding of Salesforce too. You enjoy seeing what new tech is out there to drive performance and efficieny within marketing operations but aren't fooled when something is just a gimmick either.

Responsibilities:
Working in a Marketing team of 7 people, your focus in on technology and data to drive new initiatives and support the execution of marketing campaigns.
As the Marketing Automation Manager you'll need to be an expert in HubSpot and have ownership of the marketing automation to nuture customers and follow up on enquiries. This would include planning the delivery and execution of marketing automation activities including the creation and optimisation of workflows, lists, custom fields, campaign tracking and emails to support sales and marketing initiatives; working in partnership with data, identify and troubleshoot any lead flow issues
Working between HubSpot and Salesforce you'll have an understand how one system talks to another. You'll be the go-to person in the team and if there's a technical issue then you're the one responsible for fixing those bugs.
You will identify and build lead attribution models to support marketing efficacy, and support the marketing team on campaign execution across all marketing initiatives including lead, demand gen and ABM.
You'll collaborate with the data, marketing, sales and customer success teams to map out and optimise marketing systems and processes whilst implementing effective data cleanse, enrichment and segmentation projects; ensuring that the business complies with GDPR.
Experience needed:
- Marketing operations experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong technical understanding and experience with HubSpot
- Experience managing a Salesforce & Hubspot integration is preferred
- A self-starter looking to carve out their own function and build a strong and scalable marketing operations foundations
