My client is a growing luxury cruise company dedicated to offering our guests unparalleled experiences on the high seas. Their fleet of opulent ships sails to some of the world's most exquisite destinations, providing exceptional service, world-class dining, and a wealth of unforgettable experiences. They are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Manager to join their team and play a key role in driving the marketing strategy and elevating the brand in the UK.

Role in a nutshell:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the marketing strategy, promoting the companies high-end cruise experiences, elevating the brands in the UK and achieving ambitious and growing passenger targets. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the luxury travel sector and contribute to the growth of brands known for exceptional service, exclusive destinations, and unforgettable cruise journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the development of and execute comprehensive and commercially sound marketing campaigns that drive awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement across digital, print, media advertising and event channels with the primary objective being to increase sales.
  • Manage the development of and execute comprehensive and commercially sound marketing campaigns aimed at loyalty customers to increase repeat booking levels and share of wallet across all channel platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create high-impact content and promotional materials that reflect the luxury nature of our brand.
  • Work collaboratively to align brand marketing campaigns with digital efforts, including social media, email marketing, and supporting landing pages that effectively showcase and blend the commercial value and tactical endeavours with high end brand execution resulting in an effective customer journey that leads to conversion.
  • Manage, plan and oversee the production of luxury travel brochures, Direct Mail and other collateral, ensuring all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and tone and have appropriate commercial influence to drive sales.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization to ensure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Lead market research efforts to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, best practice marketing efforts and customer preferences in the luxury travel space.
  • Work closely with the sales, product and commercial teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business goals and support revenue targets.
  • Support the organization of luxury travel events, VIP Loyalty experiences, and partnership activations that enhance brand reputation and customer loyalty.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the luxury travel, hospitality, or leisure industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies for premium or luxury brands.
  • Strong understanding of both off and online marketing with demonstrable strong commercial acumen
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and copywriting skills with a flair for storytelling and branding.
  • Experience in supporting high-end events, or influencer campaigns is a plus.
  • Passion for travel and understanding of the luxury travel market.
