We are currently working on behalf of a fantastic manufacturer, who are home to a number of incredible brands within FMCG. The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years, shaking up the market with ambitions to be at the very top.

The National Account Manager will take ownership of the strategic growth within Grocery accounts, developing and executing the plan and brand strategies.

Package Includes:

  • Salary £50,000 - £55,000
  • Car allowance, bonus potential, pension & 25 days holiday + BH

Key Responsibilities - National Account Manager:

  • Develop and implement brand strategies and plans for the existing account portfolio, aligning with company objectives.
  • Increase product distribution and visibility within the account base.
  • Drive new business development within the account base.
  • Ensure the achievement of internal targets, with a focus on profitable growth.
  • Implement promotional plans in alignment with both strategy and customer needs.
  • Understand and manage the commercial impact, including pricing, promotions, and investment.
  • Negotiate trading terms, pricing adjustments, range resets, JBP opportunities, and cost increases as needed.
  • Collaborate with customers to create and execute clear Joint Business Plans (JBPs), focusing on key customer and internal targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure account-specific objectives are met.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting, both internally and externally, with a focus on performance metrics.
  • Lead the execution of New Product Development (NPD) plans with retailers, ensuring clear implementation and support.
