A fantastic opportunity to join our client a family run business, who have been established for over 70 years and recognised leaders for the Designing and Manufacturing of Fine Work Holding. With an impressive portfolio of products and due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a UK/Ireland Business Development Manager to join their team.

The National Business Development Manager should be a Sales Engineering professional in either Machine Tool or the Work Holding Field and ideally be in the North West area.

Job description

  • Responsible for developing and implementing field sales strategies and action plans
  • Implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results
  • Actively consult and support their customers
  • Identification of customer needs and offering of work holding solutions
  • Compelling presentation and sales of our product range on site and Online
  • Increasing sales and market share
  • Acquisition of new customers to extend the customer base
  • Should participate in trade shows and customer open house
  • Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participation in professional societies

Skills

  • Experience of direct sales in the machine tool industry or work holdings industry
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or similar
  • Excellent communication and networking skills combined with high customer orientation
  • PC knowledge Microsoft Office, Good general IT skills
  • Ideally: leadership experience, as this position offers the potential opportunity to take on management responsibility for our subsidiary in the future.

In return the company offers a very competitive salary up to £65,000 per annum DEO + Bonus along with secure and interesting employment.
