Our client are looking for an experienced Project Manager for their new Product Manager - Aftermarket role. This role will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of aftermarket products in the industrial/manufacturing sector. The candidate will act as a bridge between different teams, ensuring successful product delivery and innovation of new product areas.

Description

The Product Manager - Aftermarket role will involve:

  • Develop, implement and manage the aftermarket product strategy.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Maximise opportunities in aftermarket offerings, working closely with R&D, commercial, and Product teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure products meet customer needs and expectations
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Drive projects on new offerings and engage regional sales organisations.
  • Monitor and report on product performance and customer feedback

Profile

For the Product Manager - Aftermarket role, a successful applicant should have:

  • A degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field
  • Extensive experience in either Product Management, consulting, or Project Management within a B2B setting.
  • Strong track record of delivering on large scale projects.
  • Able to travel internationally when required - up to 20 days per year.
  • An understanding of industrial manufacturing sectors would be beneficial.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong influencing skills, able to manage upwards and across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • An analytical approach, and able to translate complex data into accessible formats.
