Our family-run client is seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager based in Manchester to spearhead regional sales growth.  The company serves many clients, including hotels, restaurants, pub chains, conferencing venues, and catering companies. With a rich legacy that spans generations, they take pride in traditional methods and commit to product quality.

Key Accountabilities

This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-oriented sales leader who excels at cultivating customer relationships, developing impactful sales strategies, and consistently surpassing targets. Primarily based in Manchester, this role also offers the flexibility to collaborate with the head office team about once a week. ·       Identify and acquire new accounts, establish, maintain and develop them

·       Maintain and develop existing accounts allocated

·       Working with the development team to produce specific bespoke customer products as required

·       Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services

·       Developing new and innovative ways of selling the company’s products

·       Anticipate potential opportunities by researching the relevant markets, competitor activity, locating potential events and marketing opportunities

·       Collaboration with other departments within the business

·       Promoting new products and special offers

·       Initial 60/40 split between new business development and account management

·       Report clearly and speedily on day-to-day activities, changing business trends, customer complaints, satisfaction, and competitors’ activities

·       Report on and update monthly sales forecasts for customers and prospects.

·       Identify and attend relevant Trade exhibitions as required.

Personal Profile

Experience in sales or as a chef is desirable but not essential

Competent IT skills

Knowledge and experience of using social media

Well-organized and detail-oriented

Good troubleshooter with strong multi-tasking skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to negotiate and understand the customers’ requirements.

Dynamic, positive working attitude

Driven with a desire to succeed and progress in their career.
