Due to continuing expansion our client, a national distribution company, is actively seeking an experienced, dedicated, and proactive Regional Sales Manager to complement their growing team.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, responsibilities will include.
Responsible for securing sales, customer satisfaction and loyalty to the company brand
Search for new business within the core customer base and identify who will benefit from new products or services and maximise client potential.
To be able to influence and demonstrate the benefits of our offering against alternatives in a tough and competitive marketplace.
Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
Provide pre-sales assistance and product education, sale benefits.
Work on after-sales support services.
Arrange and carry out product training.
Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records.
Meet and exceed sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
Liaise with other members of the sales and warehouse teams.
As a successful candidate you will have a previous role within sales/account management and a background within printing, promotions or advertising could be beneficial. You will also be credible and confident within a client facing role, always display exceptional organisational and communication skills together with a professional approach to work. Experience using a CRM system would be an advantage as would a working knowledge of Excel and other MS packages.
