As part of our growth strategy, we’re expanding our Sales Team and are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager/Executive to cover the Northwest region.
This is an exciting opportunity to represent a leading brand while offering clients a broad portfolio of material handling equipment. The successful candidate will proactively develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and deliver tailored solutions that exceed customer expectations. You’ll have the flexibility to leverage a diverse supplier portfolio and the autonomy to manage your territory effectively
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through focused prospecting, including cold calling and networking.
- Negotiate contracts effectively and close sales deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Represent a world-leading brand like Mitsubishi and other key industry products, offering tailored solutions to clients.
- Prepare detailed sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data to track performance and inform strategies.
- Keep management updated on opportunities by submitting regular reports and conducting area analyses.
- Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and sales activities to ensure accurate historical data.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and contribute to overall business success.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and adapt strategies.
About You
- Proven experience in cold calling, canvassing, and developing new business independently within the MHE or capital equipment sector.
- Solid understanding of finance in a sales context, with strong negotiation and prospecting skills to close deals effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline, plan strategically, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn, engage in self-study, and continuously improve performance.
