Sales Manager

Our client, a growing sustainable construction company, is seeking aSales Manager to drive sales of their natural, low-carbon building materials. If you're passionateabout making a positive environmental impact and have a proven track record in technical saleswithin the construction industry, this could be the ideal role for you.

Position Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in growing and convertingthe company's existing sales pipeline. Your primary goal will be to maximise the capacity of theirnew production line, increasing revenue and profitability. This position offers the opportunity tomake a significant impact on the adoption of sustainable building practices in the UK constructionindustry.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure enquiries from specialist insulation distributors
  • Generate new leads with end users, contractors, and sustainable house builders
  • Travel for face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects
  • Develop a deep understanding of competitor products at a technical level
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Ensure accurate and timely sales documentation
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective content for campaigns

Requirements

  • Proven experience in in selling a insulation type product within the construction industry
  • Established relationships with local authorities, housing associations, contractors, builders merchants
  • Excellent understanding of insulation technical performance
  • Experience managing merchant/distributor relationships
  • Confidence in discussing product installations with architects and contractors
  • Network of potential customers and distributors in the construction industry
