A fantastic opportunity to join this well established and reputable travel company where you will be responsible for driving B2B sales and distribution of their products including flights, touring, cruise, hotels and car hire to the travel industry such as tour operators and OTA's. Senior Trade Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Contributing to and delivering the b2b sales distribution strategy for new business partners.
- Developing new business for API, GDS, Website and Groups distribution channels.
- Negotiating commercial agreements to maximise margins.
- Work in close collaboration with technical team to enhance capabilities, the operations team to support b2b partners and aviation team to deliver air overrides and GDS targets.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Feeding market intelligence back in to the business to drive improvements.
Senior Trade Sales Manager Skills Required
- With there being a particular focus on expanding flights / air package distribution, it is particularly desirable for someone to have knowledge and experience of selling air product (b2b).
- In addition to the above, experience of b2b sales from a wholesale and tour operating background.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse data for commercial decision making.
- Knowledge of travel technology such as API, GDS and Web platforms.
- Full and clean driving license with the ability to travel nationwide and occasionally internally.
Senior Trade Sales Manager Package
- A basic salary in the region of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
