Our client, a technology focused engineering business, seek to appoint a Technical Sales Director. Reporting to the Managing Director the appointed Technical Sales Director will identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers and convert them into sales to meet the company targets for growth and profitability. It is important that you have experience of automation, robotics and special purpose machinery. There's lots of great products, services and systems that customers do want to buy!Technical Sales Director - Role and Responsibilities - Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / BDM / Account Manager / Automation / Engineering / Robotics / Special Purpose Machinery / Manufacturing* Establish and maintain relationships with designated existing and prospective customers* Communicate new product propositions to existing and prospective customers* Plan, prepare and deliver responses (inclusive of presentations) to existing and prospective customers* Produce a monthly sales report covering activity of you and your team* Promote and develop corporate image and reputation and contribute to overall business development plan* Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and provide the Managing Director with market activity feedbackTechnical Sales Director - Skills and Abilities - Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / BDM / Account Manager / Electronics / Automation / Engineering / Robotics / Special Purpose Machinery / Manufacturing* Degree qualified (or equivalent)* Experience selling advanced automated technology and complex engineered systems* Proven track record in a technical sales role within an engineering market sector.
