Technical Sales Manager - Building Services Specialist

Our client, a leading manufacturer of engineered above ground systems, is seeking a talented Technical Sales Manager to drive sales across their commercial product range. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a well-established organisation known for their innovative solutions in the building services sector.

Position Overview

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling the company's comprehensive range of products, associated building services solutions. Collaborating with the wider sales team, you will focus on delivering expected conversion rates on select projects, following a cradle-to-grave approach.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver expected conversion rates on select projects, collaborating with the wider sales team

  • Liaise with key stakeholders on new projects, documenting progress and activities

  • Plan and manage your diary effectively and proactively

  • Manage contractor terms and agreements, regularly reviewing levels and spend

  • Liaise with clients and handle objections professionally

  • Respond to all incoming enquiries promptly, delivering excellent customer service

  • Complete weekly reporting on the CRM system

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities

  • Represent and support the business at various social and brand awareness events

  • Provide site assistance and technical training

  • Support operational departments to ensure smooth delivery and supply of your projects

Requirements
  • Ideally have an excellent knowledge of the M&E marketplace

  • Proven track record of working on large-scale commercial projects

  • Ability to handle technical dialogue at all levels and present to groups

  • Quick learner, able to become a technical specialist in the company's products and services

  • Understanding of project stages and decision-making processes in commercial construction
