Job Summary:

The Vice President of Commercial will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing commercial and sales strategies to support and accelerate significant growth across European markets. This role demands an individual with a strong omnichannel sales background and proven leadership skills. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, immediately contributing to the achievement of ambitious growth targets. This role involves leading and managing the strategy across all sales channels, including professional, consumer, wholesale, and distribution throughout Europe.

Role Outline & Responsibilities:

Commercial:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve revenue growth targets and enhance profitability.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity.
  • Implement new customer acquisition strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Manage and coordinate sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
  • Track, measure, and analyse commercial performance using KPIs.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance metrics.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities for revenue diversification.

Sales Channel Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for all brands across the European market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales channel leaders, collaboratively developing and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across Europe.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitor actions to identify potential opportunities.
  • Implement promotional and marketing activities to boost partner sales.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the retail industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving growth within a complex, omnichannel sales environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing sales teams, with a track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious targets.
  • In-depth understanding of omnichannel retail brands across European markets.
  • Ability to immediately contribute to strategic planning and execution, with a focus on rapid results.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
