Prestigious opportunity for a Head of IT, dedicated to a Digital Transformation for a Global Market-leading organisation. As we continue to transform our business and grow on a global scale, this is a new role based in Manchester with hybrid working.As a key member of our strategic leadership team, our Head of IT will be responsible for:-

  • Leading on systems, infrastructure and IT service changes, working closely with direct reports'
  • Reporting to the IT Director to line manage and provide inspirational leadership to colleagues in the IT department
  • Providing consultancy and supporting the business through the effective use of IT systems that are managed by the UK IT Function
  • Collaborating with IT colleagues, central group IT and third party system vendors to support and develop the existing application base - warehouse management, ERP, Finance, HR, T&A and payroll systems
  • Collaborating third party MSP and ISP in supporting and developing the infrastructure and support capabilities across the business
  • Providing expertise in business systems change projects to enhance functionality in existing systems and/or roll out new systems
  • Review changing business needs and, where appropriate, progress change requests through the relevant business owner and/or suppliers.

  • Experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally with knowledge in ERP, HR, Finance, Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of infrastructure services (LAN, WAN, Datacentre, Public Cloud)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Understanding complex information and requirements
  • Good evaluation skills
  • Confidence in decision-making
  • Multiple sites experience
  • International experience is an advantage, in particular, working within a larger group.
