Are you a passionate leader looking to make a real difference in children's services? A local authority in the North West is seeking an Assistant Team Manager to play a key role in delivering Early Help and Prevention services. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team, shape intervention strategies, and work collaboratively to improve outcomes for vulnerable families.
The Role:As an Assistant Team Manager, you will:? Lead and develop a team of professionals, ensuring best practices in early intervention and family support.? Make a direct impact by overseeing tailored intervention plans that help families achieve long-term stability and resilience.? Work collaboratively with schools, health services, and community organisations to coordinate effective multi-agency support.? Ensure high-quality service delivery through supervision, mentoring, and performance management.? Monitor and evaluate interventions to achieve the best possible outcomes for families and children.
About You:?? Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with a relevant degree and Social Work England registration.?? A minimum of two years' experience in social care, particularly within early help and prevention services.?? Strong leadership and team management skills with experience supervising practitioners.?? Excellent knowledge of social care legislation and safeguarding frameworks.?? A proactive, empathetic, and collaborative approach to supporting children and families.
