Your Role as Early Years Assistant Manager:

In this key leadership role, you will:

  • Work collaboratively with the nursery management team to inspire and lead staff in delivering high-quality, inclusive early years education and care.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating sensitive and responsive interactions to extend children's learning experiences.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met and maintained.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Post-qualification experience in early education, childcare, or a similar environment.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear reports, child protection/safeguarding documentation, and business correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other computer tools for report writing and administrative tasks.
  • Leadership abilities - the capability to inspire, motivate, and set high standards for both yourself and your team.
  • An enhanced DBS check (if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service).
